We are looking at reaching out to many more inmates with materials to enable them connect with God every day and in every way. We invite you to partner with us so that together we can make the life changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to this group of brethren.

Over the years, we have been blessed with several opportunities to be part of the prison’s evangelical programs organized in different centres. On many occasions, the prison’s chaplain have themselves also sponsored copies of Our Daily Bread annual devotionals at subsidized prices for distribution to the Prison Wardens as a ministry to them

Our Daily Bread Kenya Prison Ministry Outreach

Our Daily Bread Ministries, Kenya has a very active prisons outreach ministry that began in the year 2002 when the Chaplain for the Prison Centre, Rev. Joyce Mutuku paid a visit to the ODB office to request for resources that we could give the prisoners. A partnership was formed instantly and ODB began to distribute resources to the Langata Women’s Prison. Before long, ODB also commenced distributing free resources to Kamiti Maximum Prison, Naivasha Maximum prison and the Industrial Area Prison. To date, we minister to over five prison centres with thousands of inmates, including prisoners confined to hospital beds. Every year, through the kind donations of our readers we get the opportunity to share ODB resources with between 2,500 - 4,000 inmates, which is not even enough for one centre.

For a special cost of Ksh.100....a copy of 2020 Our Daily Bread Devotional will be given to a prisoner!
